The past couple of weeks I’ve been asked about what it takes to get a real estate license in Texas. There are many factors to determine your specific criteria. One primary factor is, the classes you you need, which mainly depends on your formal education (not required). Attached is a document from the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M which outlines the the licensing requirements and process, in detail. If you have questions about obtaining your license feel free to reach out me and I’ll be happy to guide you.
August home sale prices the past year: The past month, home prices in the Frisco and Plano stopped their price decline. However, the decline continued for McKinney and Allen. Still, year over year the home prices in these area have gained value.
Months of inventory: Since the first of the year the number of homes on the market continue to clime in our area. So… it’s still might be considered a sellers market the sellers are having to be more competitive on pricing and home condition.
P.S. This is a busy month in many households. Summer is over. The kids are back in school:) It’s time to prepare for the change in seasons.
